I am sad to report that this week is the last show for It Takes a Village. I have supported the show primarily on my own for five years. It is no longer possible. I would like to thank the sponsors I have had: Attorney Jeff Anderson and singer Ann Reed. I would also like to thank Eric Webster, my producer. He taught me how to be a half-way decent radio host and became a good friend. I would also like to thank Mark Hiemenz who gave his time every week to make the show what it is. Thanks to all of my guests who told their inspiring stories. So one last time let's go to the Village. We talk to Betty Kroll, Stephanie Kinnunen and Molly Dahl about how to change the world one community at a time. Listen

CONVERSATIONS ABOUT:
How ordinary people are working to change the world one community at a time - Next door or half way around the world; Community Festivals like May Day, and Cinco De Mayo and how they build the community; Volunteer opportunities that can fit into anyone’s busy life. Environmental tips that we can all incorporate into our daily life.
"You find lots of little things going on in every community in the country. If there is a world here in a hundred years, it will not be due to any big organization of any sort, no big political group, no big church, no big government.
It is going to be saved by millions of little organizations. It might just be that what Jesus and Jeremiah and Mohammed and Buddha talked about will come true."
- Pete Seeger

"You are a wonderful reason to "wake-up" on Sunday morning -- plus -- I'm enjoying becoming a "life learner" -- as so many of your topics are not just for the younger generation on how they can take care of the world -- it's up to all of us. Really enjoy your delivery style -- it's as if you are just having a casual conversation with all of us. Thank you! Take care -- from your big fan in Forest Lake!!"
